Crystal, my friend, has a son who was just in a terrible bike accident. While outside on his bike, Albert saw a ramp that went over an area where they were digging out a pool, and decided that it would be fun to go over that ramp - as most boys would do. What he didn’t realize was that it dropped off on the other side. So, off he went, falling off his bike and landing on his neck, crushing his 5^th vertebrae.

The doctor that was called in did an amazing thing. He went in through the neck to take out all of the bone pieces and left a “carbon cage” in the bone’s place. Then he took the bone pieces, pulverized them, and put them all back into the carbon cage. Amazingly, the bone will grow back! Meanwhile, poor Albert, had to have another operation to fuse together the 4^th and 6^th vertebrae. I am happy to report that Albert is doing well.

However, the amazing part of this story is this: during the surgery, the doctor had to drill through Albert’s bones. The doctor told Crystal that he had broken 3 drill bits trying to get through Albert’s bones, because Albert had such strong bone density!

The doctor told Crystal he had never seen a 14 year old with as strong a bone density and muscle strength as Albert had, and that was also why he probably didn’t break more bones!

On this new site ,you will find lots of updated content with full search capabilites, but we have had a number of questions about accessing files on the new site. This will help explain two key things regarding accessing your files on the new site.

1. Please make sure you log in to the new site with the same user name you've always used at HealthyFiles.com, do not register again. If you create a new account for yourself it will not be enabled immediately for full access to the files, but your existing account has been enabled on the new site and you will have full access to all the files.

2. To open files in the new folders, you need to either double-click the file, or right-click on the file and select Download File. Note that when you right-click on a file you have the option to email the file to yourself too!
