Les Wong mentioned that healthcare professionals can see clinical studies on sports products at: www.physicians.shaklee.com

They register at the website with their credentials by clicking at the top where it says REGISTER.  Then they click at the top on SHAKLEE SCIENCE and "Clinical Study Research Archive" and sign in with user name and password to see the clinicals.  [My registration as a health researcher was accepted with my BA and MFA credentials even though I'm not a doctor, nurse, etc.  Others of you may be able to register as a health researcher as well.]

www.clinicals.myshaklee.com  - is where anyone can go to the journal where each study is posted.
The Product Guide has a listing of our clinical studies in the back.  Take that info and type it into google or pubmed and you can find most of those studies online.

At the global conference in DC they will be sharing recent clinicals at the Health Professionals gathering on Wed 8/10 from 4:30 - 7 in the Potomac meeting room.

I just checked out the mascara made by Origins (available in Macy's Dept. stores and Origins stores) and found that the ingredients are very similar to those in the Shaklee mascara. I have been using it and find it a comparable product.

I was wondering if anyone has found a comparable mascara to the one Shaklee discontinued. My eyes are very sensitive and even the natural ones will bother my eyes. I was able to exercise and sweat with Shaklee's mascara and it stayed on and didn't hurt my eyes. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have an 81 year old customer who has had a complete reversal in Macular Degeneration.  He used RX for a Healthier life plus 2 Carotomax and 2 Zinc every day.

He was legally blind when I met him in April, 2010 --- and in December, 2010 he was able to read every line on the eye chart without the use of any glasses.

His ophthalmologist who does not believe in supplements is now a Shaklee Member on AutoShip.

I just wanted to share my new found appreciation for the Shaklee Energy Chews. I had a long run to do today, and was completely out of Energy Chews. I decided to just get some energy blocks from the drug store to use since I was out. I figured it wouldn't be a big deal.

Well it was a huge mistake! Shaklee chews give me more consistent energy and the drug store energy blocks made me feel like I was on a sugar high and would quickly crash. The worst part was after I finished my run, I felt horrible.

Normally I feel fatigued, but after I drink my post run cinch shake, I feel fine. My fatigue was much more intense and I had the worst upset stomach, I seriously thought I was going to throw up! It ended up taking my body almost three hours to fully recover. I did some research and found that the upset stomach is common after long runs and its due to all of the added sugar that is in energy chews and energy 'gu'. Shaklee chews have no added sugar!

I had just read this testimony of a child's bone's being so dense, a surgeon had to use different tools than his normal ones. The child used Shaklee products.

On 9/24/09, I talked to my 79 year old mother who had undergone a 9 hour surgery two days ago to straighten her severe scoliosis lower spine with rods and screws. She had just talked to her surgeon who explained why her thighs hurt so bad, because he had to use a mallet and had to hit hard to get through her dense bones!

Crystal, my friend, has a son who was just in a terrible bike accident. While outside on his bike, Albert saw a ramp that went over an area where they were digging out a pool, and decided that it would be fun to go over that ramp - as most boys would do. What he didn’t realize was that it dropped off on the other side. So, off he went, falling off his bike and landing on his neck, crushing his 5^th vertebrae.

The doctor that was called in did an amazing thing. He went in through the neck to take out all of the bone pieces and left a “carbon cage” in the bone’s place. Then he took the bone pieces, pulverized them, and put them all back into the carbon cage. Amazingly, the bone will grow back! Meanwhile, poor Albert, had to have another operation to fuse together the 4^th and 6^th vertebrae. I am happy to report that Albert is doing well.

However, the amazing part of this story is this: during the surgery, the doctor had to drill through Albert’s bones. The doctor told Crystal that he had broken 3 drill bits trying to get through Albert’s bones, because Albert had such strong bone density!

The doctor told Crystal he had never seen a 14 year old with as strong a bone density and muscle strength as Albert had, and that was also why he probably didn’t break more bones!
